Trip to Haiti
Pastor Kirk recently took a
team to Haiti.
The team represented 4 churches in Southern California.
Pastor Kirk and his team were able to bring supplies for the orphanage,
encourage the staff that are volunteering to care for the kids and teach the
children in school, encourage Pastor Julian (he lost his wife, home, orphanage,
school, and church building in the earthquake), meet with local leaders
and pastors to strategies on ways to reach Haiti for Jesus, connect
Pastor Bobby with other pastors for fellowship, networking, discipleship,
encouragement, and accountability, and then preach the Gospel to a crowd of
people in a city town square during flag day in the city where the flag
was made called Saint-Marc where the president celebrated. On this trip
they had 12 divine appointments that developed partnerships with Pastor Bobby,
5 healings, 30 plus salvations, and a container from the Mexican government was
given to the orphanage with 2 little rooms filled to the ceiling and a big
storage room filled to the top with food, diapers, water bottles, paper
goods, and cleaning supplies. Pastor Kirk also met with Pastor Julian who has
planted 7 churches all over Haiti
and has been a pastor in Haiti
for 30 years. Pastor Julian has talked to his other pastors and said he
loves what Set Free church stands for and how they are all about Jesus. He
told Kirk the Sunday before he preached that he is changing his church
name to Set Free church and wants to come aboard with them. He said the
other 7 churches in Haiti
are going to change to Set Free church as well. He announced this
to the church and the 4 pastors visiting from the other church. Set Free
is honored to come along side our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus in Haiti. You can

You can still help the
people of Haiti.
Here are some of the things we need:
1. There are 48 children
and they are sleeping on the ground. Pastor Bobby and his wife Darlene
and there 2 boys sleep on the ground as well. It's cement ground and is
dirty. Many of them are getting sick from breathing in the dust and their
skin has rashes. We found a place in Haiti that will
build medal bunk bed frames for $60each and mattress
for $20each. We hope to buy 25 bunk beds which equals $2,000.
2. We are looking for churches
to sponsor a kid monthly starting at $20 a kid. There are 48 orphans and Pastor
Bobby has 2 young boys.
3. We need a big roll of screen
for the windows to keep the mosquito's and bugs out.
4. We need cement blocks,
wood, and corrugated sheet metal to build a new bathroom and shower
facility for the kids.
5. We want to purchase one of those
Metal Sheet buildings that come in a kit to send down there to build on the new
site. Before we do anything on the property we need to build a fence around the
property for security.
Kirk is looking for teams of Doctors and Nurses to go do
clinics, builders to help demolate damaged property and build new
walls, teachers to help train teaching methods for the teachers at
the school, and pastors/church leaders to train up Haitian pastors
and church leaders. Those that want to come need to get a passport, have
their travel shots updated, take malaria pills, and plan for it to be hot. Kirk
located some great place for teams to stay. The guest houses are nice and have
showers, electricity, great meals, and internet. If you or your church is interested,
please let Kirk know. He is willing to go down there in July or August after he
gets back from the Philippines
in June. His number is 909-615-0427.
